Breast ultrasound uses high-frequency sound waves to assess breast tissue and investigate any lumps or abnormalities. It’s particularly helpful for women with dense breast tissue or as a follow-up to a mammogram.

The scan is safe, painless, and radiation-free, offering clear insight into cysts, fibroadenomas, or other benign and suspicious findings. Both men and women can benefit from breast ultrasound if experiencing pain, swelling, or palpable changes. Comprehensive assessments can also include specialist consultations for a complete diagnostic picture.

Book today and you can expect to have your scan in a few days, with urgent options available. Once we’ve reviewed your enquiry, we’ll offer the earliest convenient time for you. Self-pay patients cover the cost directly, while insured patients are billed through their provider — our admin team handles all the details to keep the process simple and stress-free.

How is a breast ultrasound performed?

A transducer is moved over the breast using gel; it’s painless, non-invasive, and radiation-free.

How long will my scan take?

Most ultrasound scans take around 20–30 minutes. You can also add on a follow-up consultation if you want to.
